Civita di Bagnoregio, known as "the dying city," is one of Italy's most captivating medieval villages. Founded by the Romans in 265 B.C. and later ruled by the Visigoths, Byzantines, Lombards, and Franks, Civita is home to a rich historical heritage. Among its treasures are the Cathedral of Saints Nicola, Donato, and Bonaventura, along with three other churches dedicated to the same saints, reflecting the profound spirituality of this place.

Civita di Bagnoregio also served as the backdrop for Luigi Comencini's famous film Pinocchio, further cementing the village's iconic status. But that's not all: it is also home to Italy's only UFO Museum, a fascinating attraction that draws enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.

The tour, which lasts about two hours, offers the chance to savor local delicacies at the village's restaurants. Traditional dishes include umbrichelli (a type of pasta), fettuccine, legume soups, bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, and grilled meats, all accompanied by homemade desserts.

Entry to the city costs €5, which includes crossing the panoramic bridge, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding valley. Civita di Bagnoregio is located about an hour's drive from Civitavecchia, making it a perfect destination for a day trip.

Important: This tour does not allow per-person bookings. Instead, you must reserve the entire private vehicle, with a maximum capacity of 8 people. Whether your group consists of 2, 5, or 8 passengers, the price remains the same, and no other travelers will be added to your booking.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your tour up to 30 days before the scheduled date at no additional cost. In this case, your deposit will be fully refunded to the original payment method.

If you cancel less than 30 days before the tour, the deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee and will not be refunded.
